Information for Students & Parents
Metro cards are issued to students in accordance with the
NYC Department of Education guidelines, and are based
solely on the distance a student lives from the school.
Please refer to the "Transportation Passes" section of our
school regulations for more details Click here .
All students will receive blue emergency cards which must
be completed by parents or guardians. Even if your child is
not new to our school and no information on the card has
changed, you must submit a new card at the beginning of
every school year.
All students will also receive a student Agenda Book on
the first day of school. The cost of this book is $5.00.
Every student is required to use this book to record
homework assignments, test and project information, and
any other pertinent school related matters. Parents should
read, sign, and return the letter that will be sent home with
the Agenda with the $5.00 payment as soon as possible.
An I.S. 125 Parent Handbook will be also be sent home
with students at the same time, for parents' use as a date
book and as a reference for all school policies. This book
is our gift to you, and there is no charge for it.
All students should report to school ready to work. Supply
lists for different grades and subjects may be found at the
